Tinymystic Arts / Lauri Alexander - Artist / Multi-potentialist  has been designing and working in the arts for over 30 years. From wedding flowers to renaissance faires she has worked as a vendor, event producer and art director. In 1996 a life change sent her back to school where she received her degree in computer animation. From there she worked as a freelance graphic designer producing everything from logo design to multi-media interactive cd's and websites. In 2008 with the changes in the industry, Lauri went back to her love of Painting and Photography, she shifted gears to pursue Fine Art and Portrait photography. She specializes in maternity and newborn portraits but also enjoys capturing families in the lifestyle genre.

Drawing and painting have been a lifetime hobby for Lauri. As a young girl she began sketching and painting, always pursuing the arts through school and into college. It became a way of life and a way to pass the hours during the times she was laid up recovering from the medical challenges that were a common part of her life. Lauri has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which is also known as Brittle Bones. She has endured well over 100 fractures and multiple surgeries. Finding art was a life saver and an outlet during the trying and often lonely times of life. Lauri never let her disorder or use  of a wheelchair limit her accomplishments. She has been the owner operator of multiple business pursuits, was the chairman and producer of a non-profit organization that produced two weekend events a year. Married and raised 4 children (and multiple others) and continues to achieve goals and surpass her limitations everyday. Her greatest joy is creating LOVE and seeing others smile.
